David Riley

David Riley is a dedicated substance use counselor at RS Eden, where he has passionately served for six years. With 25 years of continuous recovery, David is committed to supporting individuals facing the challenges of substance use and mental health concerns. He holds a Bachelor’s in Christian ministries from Bethel University, and a Bachelor’s in addiction counseling from Metropolitan State University. He is currently pursuing a Master's in clinical counseling for mental health at Saint Mary's University.

Throughout his career, David has felt a profound calling to serve those struggling with life issues. He utilizes his personal experiences to inspire hope and healing. In addition to his counseling work, David serves as an associate minister at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. A role he has embraced for 12 years, where he encourages and uplifts his community.

Married and grounded in family values, David is excited to engage in discussions on how to effectively support individuals returning from incarceration, emphasizing the importance of compassion, understanding, and holistic care.
